Program Offerings

Weekly Classes

Dance classes are specifically designed for adults over 50 and taught by instructors Chloe Napoletano and Sarah Ramey. Using principles from ballet, contemporary, and improvisation dance, class exercises cultivate strength, coordination, range of motion, flexibility, and creative skills. These dance activities also challenge the brain by connecting thinking and moving, helping to maintain or enhance cognitive functions such as memory. Participants of all physical abilities, whether completely new to dance or returning after many years, experience the physical and cognitive benefits of dance alongside other older adults in a supportive community.

Price

Class prices are a sliding scale. $5-12.

Weekly Classes

Performance Group

PMG’s goals include developing the artistic voices of participating dancers and fostering community inside and outside of the collective. The adults in this performance group are key collaborators in the creation of the work, offering them agency over their stories and how they are shared in text and movement. This project invites dancers and their stories to take center stage, shining the spotlight on their value and role in our community

Rehearsals

Rehearsals happen weekly and require registration. Please email to inquire or register. In the event that a rehearsal must be canceled, an email will be sent out.
